First interested in electronics and software in early high school, Bill pursued degrees in both areas from top ranked universities. As an engineer, he has architected, designed, and developed control systems for a wide variety of industries including medical, broadcast video, and industrial.
For the past 25 years, Bill has held several leadership positions including Principal Engineer, Manager, Director, Vice President Divisional CTO. Bill is passionate about leadership and the development of team members through mentoring, coaching, and structured learning. A convert to Agile Development Methodologies, Bill believes in delivering high value products to his customers by embracing change, through tight collaboration with Product Owners, and by delivering incremental releases through rapid iterations.
A strong innovator, Bill has forged partnerships with Tier 1 suppliers, and has been chosen to be beta site partner on multiple new technologies, including Zigbee Wireless Systems and 3D LCD displays. He has excellent problem solving skills and is valued for his ability to examine issues from all angles. Bill has an excellent understanding of supply chain management, quality through continuous improvement, finance, and is a huge proponent of Lean fundamentals.
In 2015 Bill started Endeavor Consulting Group to assist customers with design and development of products across multiple industries. Endeavor consumes most of Bills time, but what time he has left over he spends fishing and traveling.
